About the Lansdale Business Association
The Lansdale Business Association was originally established over 40 years ago as the Lansdale Merchants Association to promote retail shopping along Main Street in Lansdale Borough. In 1996, the association incorporated as a non-profit 501C under it's current name.
The association is a member run organization with bylaws that provide guidelines for membership and operations. An anuually elected excutive committee, currently consisting of 9 members with 4 officers meets at least monthly for planning and day to day decisions in the operation of the association related to meetings, projects and other activities for the benefit of its members. The mission statement stated within the bylaws and shown in the image on this page provide much of the guideline for committee decisiions.
In the past, the association has obtained state funding for main street improvements and facilitated other worthwhile projects for the benefit of it members and the Borough of Lansdale.

Over the past decade, Lansdale Borough experienced one of the most progressive periods in its history related to new development projects.
The Bandshell at Whites Road Park
The Bandshell at Whites Road Park was a joint project with The North Penn Rotary. It is a great location for outdoor concerts and events with the festive design by Architect Jack Chun, strong accoustics, and the natural bowl of the park. The Borough's Summer Concert Series is held here on Tuesday evenings from May to July. Check our calendar for specifics on the series and other events at this venue.
The performing arts center
The historic Mason's Temple was purchased by the Borough a few years ago with support from local, state and federal grants to establish a downtown event and entertainment center. While currently closed; the location is being reviewed the Borough and others for options to complete and reopen this center.

With the revitalization projects on South Broad Street and West Main Street, Lansdale Borough is a great place for business and a great place to live.
The mission of the The Lansdale Business Association is to support and assist businesses in the borough. We have set our goals for the upcoming year to expand membership and support beyond retail and beyond Main Street; to improve the use of technology through our new website; and to explore projects that would best serve our members and Lansdale borough.
The primary goals of our website is both to promote business for its members and to facilitate the business of the association.
